Authentic Leadership Workshop

In this workshop, participants will collectively rethink the leadership models we want and the communities we want to build, using novel research at Harvard University on Well-being and Leadership. During the four weekly gatherings we will investigate what has shaped us as leaders, so that we can act boldly by practicing our most authentic form of leadership!
Workshop Dates and Modules:
- 4/11 – Leadership Context – Introduction to the 4-part workshop and Leadership in the current world context. Present concepts on different leadership models, their impact on organizations and well-being.
- 11/11 – What shapes our leadership models – Present the concepts of mental models and how it shapes the individual leadership styles.
- 18/11 – Practicing Authentic Leadership – “The success of interventions depends on the inner state of interveners”. Practices in this module enable individuals to access their authentic self to act from that state. The most important knowledge is about the self. The focus is on understanding oneself, work and journey.
- 25/11 – Acting boldly to create thriving teams – Present the components of truly successful teams and what drives performance. There is a difference between the known science of performance the the practiced performance models.
Heloisa Jardim is the Research Manager for the Sustainability and Health Initiative for NetPositive Enterprise (SHINE) at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. As a thought leader in her role, she oversees the implementation of SHINE’s research studies and dives deep into the data to uncover novel insights into how organizations can design work environments that serve a platform for individuals to flourish. Based on her research experience, Heloisa has developed the Authentic Leadership Workshop to provide a basis for flourishing individuals and organizations. She has facilitated the workshop for individuals working in various Brazilian organizations. And for organizations she has facilitated the workshop for Harvard employees, Johnson and Johnson Global Health Services, Ifood Customer Experience team, Wework Community Lead teams and counting.
